Bus cancellation charges consist of the operator's cancellation penalty, FareEagle processing charges, and a non-refundable payment processing fee. The operator's penalty is based on a tiered system — the closer you cancel to departure, the higher the charge. You can cancel directly from your dashboard under My Bookings → View Details → Cancel Booking.

Trip Bundles combine a flight booking and a hotel booking into a single checkout. However, each component is booked independently with the respective Service Provider and must be cancelled separately.

Once you confirm the cancellation, the refund is processed automatically. Here's what to expect:

The following are not eligible for refund under any circumstances:

| Add-on services (meals, seats, baggage) | Fully non-refundable. Pre-booked meals, seat selections, and extra baggage purchased during booking cannot be refunded upon cancellation, regardless of when you cancel or whether the service was used. |
| Promotional credits/cashback | If you used a promo code or received cashback on a booking that is later cancelled, the promotional benefit is forfeited. |
If you'd prefer to change your booking instead of cancelling, you can submit a modification request from your dashboard. Modifications are subject to availability and provider policies.

In rare cases, a payment may be debited from your account but the booking may not be confirmed. This can happen due to network timeouts, payment gateway delays, or technical issues.

Consumer Protection Act, 2019: As a consumer of services booked through FareEagle, you are entitled to the protections afforded by the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including the right to be informed of all charges before purchase, the right to seek redressal against deficiency of service, and the right to approach the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission at the district, state, or national level.
Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020: In compliance with these rules, FareEagle ensures that all charges, cancellation fees, and refund timelines are prominently displayed to you before you confirm any booking or cancellation. We do not manipulate prices, impose hidden charges, or engage in unfair trade practices.
DGCA Passenger Rights (Civil Aviation Requirements): For flight bookings, your rights in case of flight delays, cancellations, and denied boarding are governed by DGCA's Civil Aviation Requirements (CAR Section 3, Series M, Part IV). Key entitlements include:
RBI Guidelines: Refunds for failed or cancelled transactions are processed in compliance with Reserve Bank of India circulars on timelines for reversal of failed transactions. If a debit has occurred but the booking was not confirmed, the amount will be auto-reversed within 5 business days as per RBI Turn Around Time (TAT) guidelines.

Step 1 — Contact FareEagle Support: Email support@fareeagle.com or submit a ticket via your dashboard within 30 days of the transaction. We will investigate and respond within 48 hours, with resolution within 7 business days.
Step 2 — Grievance Officer: If unresolved, escalate to our Grievance Officer at grievance@fareeagle.com. As per the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules, 2021 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, the Grievance Officer will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within 30 days.

If you booked through a travel agency that uses FareEagle's agency platform, cancellation and refund policies differ. Agency bookings are governed by the Agency Cancellation & Refund Policy and the agency's own terms with their customers. Please contact the agency through which you booked for assistance with cancellations and refunds.
This Cancellation & Refund Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, and the Information Technology Act, 2000. Subject to the consumer's right to file complaints at their place of residence, any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India.
