Transparent fee structure for flights, hotels, and buses
Last updated: February 2026Flight cancellation charges consist of three components: the airline's own cancellation penalty, FareEagle's service fee, and payment processing charges. You can cancel directly from your dashboard under My Bookings → View Details → Cancel Booking.

We offer free cancellation within 48 hours of booking for all hotel reservations — no FareEagle service fee is charged during this window. After 48 hours, standard fees apply.

Bus cancellation charges include the operator's penalty (which can be significant), FareEagle's service fee, and payment processing. You can cancel directly from your dashboard.

Once you confirm the cancellation, the refund is processed automatically. Here's what to expect:

The following are not eligible for refund under any circumstances:

| Payment gateway charges (1.5%) | Charged by the payment processor at the time of transaction and cannot be reversed. |
| Non-refundable fare tickets | Airline/hotel/bus explicitly marks these during booking. Only applicable taxes may be refunded. |
| No-show bookings | If the passenger does not board the flight/bus or does not check in to the hotel. |
| Partially used bookings | E.g., one leg of a round-trip flight used, or partial hotel stay completed. |
| Bookings cancelled after departure | Once the travel date/time has passed, cancellation is not possible. |
| Add-on services (meals, seats, baggage) | Supplementary services purchased during booking are non-refundable. |
If you'd prefer to change your booking instead of cancelling, you can submit a modification request from your dashboard. Modifications are subject to availability and provider policies.
