Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (ABV) was opened in 2002. It is operated by the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).
The airport handled approximately 6 million passengers in 2023. It serves as a major hub for domestic and international flights in Nigeria.
There are plans for further expansion to increase capacity.
Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport has two terminals: a domestic terminal and an international terminal. The International Terminal has 5 gates.
The domestic terminal handles flights within Nigeria. The airport has a total capacity of 15 million passengers per year.
In 2018, a new international terminal was commissioned.
Short-term parking: NGN 200 per hour. Long-term parking: NGN 2,000 per day. Premium parking is available at a higher rate. Valet parking may be available.
