How do I book a flight on FareEagle?
Enter your origin, destination, travel dates, and number of passengers on the homepage. Browse the results, select a flight, enter passenger details, and complete payment. You'll receive a confirmation email with your PNR within seconds.
Can I book a flight for someone else?
Yes. During the booking process, enter the passenger's details — full name as per their government-issued ID, date of birth, and gender. The confirmation will be sent to the email address on your FareEagle account.
How do I know my flight booking is confirmed?
After successful payment, you'll receive a confirmation email with your booking reference, PNR, and e-ticket. You can also check the status anytime under My Bookings in your dashboard.
Can I book a round-trip flight?
Yes. Select "Round Trip" on the search form and enter your departure and return dates. FareEagle will show you both combined round-trip fares and separate one-way options so you can choose the best deal.
What is a PNR and where do I find it?
PNR (Passenger Name Record) is a unique code assigned by the airline to your booking. You'll find it in your confirmation email and in your FareEagle dashboard under My Bookings.
Why did the fare change after I searched?
Flight fares are dynamic and change in real-time based on demand, availability, and airline pricing algorithms. The fare you see during search is subject to availability at the time of payment.
Can I select my seat during booking?
Yes, for airlines that support seat selection. After the fare quote, you'll see an option to choose your preferred seat, meals, and extra baggage before proceeding to payment.
What ID do I need for domestic flights?
Any government-issued photo ID is accepted for domestic travel in India: Aadhaar card, PAN card, passport, voter ID, or driving licence. The name on your ticket must match the name on your ID.
Will I get two PNRs for a domestic round trip?
Domestic round-trip flights may be issued as two separate one-way PNRs — one for the outbound leg and one for the return. This is normal and depends on the airline.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Flight delays are managed by the airline. You may be entitled to meals, refreshments, or rebooking as per DGCA guidelines depending on the delay duration.

How do I book a hotel on FareEagle?
Search by city, check-in/check-out dates, and number of guests. Browse results, select a property, choose your room type, and complete payment. You'll receive a booking confirmation with your hotel voucher.
Can I cancel my hotel booking with reduced charges?
Yes. If you cancel within 48 hours of making the booking, FareEagle processing charges are reduced. The hotel's own cancellation penalty still applies. See our Refund Policy for details.
Is breakfast included in the hotel price?
This depends on the specific room type and rate you book. Meal inclusions are clearly mentioned in the room description during booking. Look for "Breakfast Included" or "Room Only" labels.
Can I request early check-in or late check-out?
These requests can be mentioned during booking, but they are subject to availability at the property. FareEagle cannot guarantee early check-in or late check-out.
What if the hotel is different from what was shown?
If the actual hotel significantly differs from the description, contact our support team immediately with photos and details. We will work with the hotel to resolve the issue or arrange alternative accommodation.
Can I book multiple rooms?
Yes. FareEagle supports bookings of up to 2 rooms per reservation. Both rooms will be the same room type and are booked together.
What is a non-refundable room?
Some hotels offer discounted "Non-Refundable" rates. These are cheaper but if you cancel, the hotel retains the full room charge. This is clearly shown before you book.

How do I book a bus ticket?
Enter your origin city, destination city, and travel date on the bus booking page. Browse available operators, compare timings and prices, select your preferred bus and seat, and complete payment.
Can I choose my seat on the bus?
Yes. After selecting a bus, you'll see the seat layout. Pick your preferred seat — available seats are shown in green, booked seats in grey. Pricing may vary by seat position.
What if my bus is delayed or cancelled?
Bus schedules are managed entirely by the bus operator. Contact our support team and we'll help you with a refund or rebooking. Refund eligibility depends on the operator's policy.
Can I carry luggage on the bus?
Most bus operators allow one checked bag and one cabin bag. Luggage policies vary by operator. Check the operator details shown during booking.
Why can't I cancel my bus ticket?
If the cancel button is disabled, it means the operator's cancellation policy charges 100% of the fare at the current time. This typically happens very close to departure.

What is a trip bundle?
A trip bundle lets you book a flight and hotel together. Search once, select your preferred flight and hotel, and check out in a single flow. Each component is booked independently with the airline and hotel.
Is a trip bundle cheaper than booking separately?
Trip bundle pricing is the sum of individual flight and hotel prices with no bundling fee. The convenience is in the unified search and checkout. Prices may vary from booking separately.
Can I cancel just the hotel in my trip bundle?
Yes. Each component is an independent booking. You can cancel the flight, the hotel, or both separately. Cancelling one does not automatically cancel the other.
What happens if the flight books but the hotel fails?
You'll be notified immediately. You can keep the confirmed component or cancel it with standard charges. FareEagle will not charge you for the failed component.
Do I get separate e-tickets for flight and hotel?
Yes. You receive a flight e-ticket with your PNR and a separate hotel voucher. Both are available in your dashboard under My Bookings.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.), credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, RuPay), debit cards, net banking from all major Indian banks, and FareEagle Wallet balance.
Is my payment information secure?
Absolutely. All payments are processed through PCI-DSS compliant gateways with 256-bit SSL encryption. FareEagle never stores your full card details. All transactions use two-factor authentication as per RBI guidelines.
My payment was deducted but I didn't get a confirmation.
Wait 15-30 minutes — the confirmation usually arrives. If not, check your dashboard. If the booking doesn't appear, the amount will be auto-reversed within 5 business days as per RBI guidelines.
Do you charge a convenience fee?
FareEagle charges a small service fee clearly displayed in the fare breakdown before you confirm. There are no hidden fees — what you see at checkout is what you pay.
Can I pay in EMI?
EMI options depend on your bank and card issuer. If your credit card supports EMI, the option may be available during payment.
Will I get a GST invoice?
Yes. A tax invoice is generated for every booking and can be downloaded from your dashboard under My Bookings.
I was charged twice. What do I do?
The duplicate amount is automatically reversed within 5-7 business days. If not, contact us at support@fareeagle.com with both transaction references.

What is the FareEagle Wallet?
A digital wallet in your account that holds credits for future bookings. Credits come from refunds, promotions, or top-ups. It makes checkout faster and refunds instant.
How do I add money to my wallet?
From your dashboard under the Wallet section using any supported payment method (UPI, cards, net banking).
Can I use wallet balance for any booking?
Yes. Wallet balance works for flights, hotels, and buses — fully or combined with another payment method.
Are refunds to wallet instant?
Yes. Wallet refunds are immediate after cancellation, much faster than bank/card refunds which take 5-7 business days.
Can I withdraw wallet balance to my bank?
Not during normal use. If you delete your account, remaining balance is refunded to your original payment method within 14 business days.
Do wallet credits expire?
Standard credits don't expire. Promotional credits may have an expiry date communicated when issued.

How do I cancel my booking?
Go to My Bookings, select the booking, and click Cancel. You'll see all charges before confirming. You can also contact our support team.
What are FareEagle Processing Charges?
Fees for processing your cancellation, coordinating with the service provider, and facilitating your refund. Always shown before you confirm.
How long do refunds take?
Wallet: instant. UPI: 3-5 business days. Cards: 5-7 business days. Net banking: 7-10 business days.
Can I get a full refund?
Full refunds (no FareEagle charges) are available when the service provider cancels your booking. For customer cancellations, provider penalty + FareEagle charges + payment fee apply. See our Refund Policy.
What happens if the airline cancels my flight?
You get a full refund from the airline. FareEagle charges nothing. The refund is initiated automatically.
I used a promo code and now I'm cancelling.
Refund is calculated on the amount you paid after discount. The discount is forfeited and the promo code cannot be reused.

Can I change my travel date?
Yes. Submit a modification request from My Bookings. Subject to the provider's policy, fare differences, and a processing fee.
Can I change the passenger name?
Minor spelling corrections may be possible within 24 hours. Full name changes are generally not permitted by airlines.
Can I change my hotel dates?
Subject to the property's policy and room availability. Additional charges may apply if rates differ.
Can I upgrade my flight class?
Subject to airline availability. Contact support with your booking reference and preferred class.

What documents do I need?
Valid passport (6+ months validity), destination visa (if required), transit visas for layover countries, and any required vaccination certificates.
Do I need passport details during booking?
Yes. Passport number, nationality, issue date, and expiry date are required for each passenger on international flights.
What about transit visas?
If your itinerary includes a layover in a third country, you may need a transit visa. Check with the transit country's embassy.
How early should I arrive?
At least 3 hours before departure. Check-in counters typically close 60 minutes before.
Is baggage allowance different?
Yes. International flights generally have higher allowances. Check your e-ticket or airline website for specifics.

Aira is FareEagle's AI-powered travel assistant. Available on our homepage and via Telegram, Aira helps you plan trips, find the best flight and hotel combinations, compare routes, and answer travel-related questions instantly.
How do I use Aira?
Type your query in the chat widget on the homepage. Example: "Plan a 5-day trip to Bali from Delhi in April" or "Cheapest flights HYD to Dubai next month?" Aira will search and recommend options.
Is Aira free?
Yes, completely free for all FareEagle users.
Can Aira book flights for me?
Aira finds and compares options. When you're ready to book, Aira directs you to the booking page with your preferred flight and hotel pre-selected. You complete the booking and payment yourself.
Can I add Aira's recommended hotel to my trip?
Yes. Aira can suggest flights and hotels for your trip. When you're ready, Aira will redirect you to the trip booking page with the recommendations pre-loaded. You can then customise, add passengers, and complete payment.
How accurate are Aira's price estimates?
Aira provides approximate estimates based on available data. Actual prices may differ at the time of booking due to real-time fare changes. Always verify the final price before payment.
Is Aira available on Telegram?
Yes. Search for the FareEagle bot on Telegram to use Aira directly from the messaging app. The Telegram bot offers the same trip planning features — destination recommendations, flight and hotel suggestions, and more.
Does FareEagle store my Aira conversations?
Conversations are stored to improve service quality and personalise future recommendations. You can request deletion of your conversation history by contacting our support team. See our Privacy Policy for details.

What are price alerts?
Price alerts let you monitor fares for specific routes. Set an alert and we'll notify you by email when fares drop to your target price. It's a great way to catch deals on routes you're watching.
How do I set a price alert?
From your customer dashboard, go to the Price Alerts section and enter the route, dates, and your target price. You can also set alerts from the search results page by clicking the bell icon next to any flight result.
How often will I receive alerts?
You'll receive a notification whenever the fare on your monitored route drops to or below your target price. We check prices regularly. You won't receive duplicate alerts for the same price within a short period.
Can I turn off price alerts?
Yes. Pause or delete any alert from your dashboard at any time. You can also manage notification preferences from your profile settings.
Is the alerted price guaranteed?
No. Price alerts are informational. Fares change in real-time, so the price may differ when you go to book. We recommend booking quickly when you get an alert for a good fare.

How do I create an account?
Click "Sign Up", register with email or phone, verify via OTP. You can also use Google sign-in.
I forgot my password.
Click "Forgot Password" on the login page. Reset link is valid for 1 hour.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Encrypted, never sold. We comply with IT Act 2000 and DPDP Act 2023. See our Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my account?
Contact support@fareeagle.com. Active bookings must be settled first. Wallet balance refunded within 14 business days.
