Kotoka International Airport (ACC) was opened in 1958 and is operated by Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL). It is the primary international airport serving Accra, Ghana.
In 2022, the airport handled approximately 3 million passengers. The airport is undergoing continuous upgrades to improve passenger experience and increase capacity.
Kotoka International Airport has three terminals. Terminal 1 is currently not in operation.
Terminal 2 serves domestic flights. Terminal 3, opened in 2018, handles international flights and has a capacity of 5 million passengers per year.
Terminal 3 includes 5 passenger boarding bridges and 21 remote aircraft parking stands. The area of Terminal 3 is 45,000 square meters.
Short-term and long-term parking options are available. Short-term parking rates are approximately GHS 5 per hour. Daily rates for long-term parking are around GHS 40.
