Queen Alia International Airport (AMM) opened in 1983 and is operated by Airport International Group (AIG). In 2019, the airport handled over 9 million passengers.
It serves as the primary hub for Royal Jordanian. Future expansion plans aim to increase the airport's capacity to 16 million passengers per year.
Queen Alia International Airport has two passenger terminals: the North Terminal and the South Terminal. The North Terminal handles the majority of flights.
The South Terminal is primarily used by Royal Jordanian and other Oneworld alliance carriers. The airport has a total of 26 gates.
The airport's capacity is approximately 12 million passengers per year. A new terminal was opened in 2013, increasing the airport's capacity.
Short-term parking: 0.50 JOD per 30 minutes, up to 6 JOD per day. Long-term parking: 5 JOD per day. Premium parking is also available at a higher rate. Valet parking services are offered.
