It is the busiest airport in Morocco and serves as a hub for Royal Air Maroc. There are ongoing plans to further expand the airport's capacity to accommodate increasing passenger traffic.
Mohammed V International Airport has two passenger terminals: Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Terminal 1 handles both domestic and international flights.
Terminal 2 primarily handles Royal Air Maroc flights and some international flights. Terminal 1 has a capacity of 8 million passengers per year, while Terminal 2 has a capacity of 6 million passengers per year.
There is also a third terminal, Terminal 3, which was originally built to handle cargo but has been converted to handle additional passenger traffic during peak periods. The airport has undergone expansion projects to increase its capacity and improve its facilities.
Short-term parking is available near the terminals. Long-term parking is also available at a lower daily rate. Rates vary depending on the duration of stay. Short term: 5 Moroccan Dirhams per hour. Long term: 50 Moroccan Dirhams per day. Premium parking is also available at a higher rate.
