Hamad International Airport opened in 2014, replacing the former Doha International Airport. It is operated by Qatar Airways.
In 2023, the airport handled over 45 million passengers. Its IATA code is DOH.
The airport serves as the primary hub for Qatar Airways and is a major international transit point. Further expansion plans are underway to increase capacity to over 70 million passengers per year.
Hamad International Airport has one main terminal building, but it is divided into Concourses A, B, C, D, and E. Concourse D and E were part of the airport's expansion in November 2022.
The airport has over 100 boarding gates. The terminal spans 600,000 square meters and has a capacity of 53 million passengers per year.
Short-term parking: Rates start at 5 QAR per hour. Long-term parking: Rates start at 45 QAR per day. Premium parking and valet services are also available at higher rates. Pre-booking is available through the airport website.
