Donetsk International Airport was opened in 1933 and significantly renovated in 2012. It was operated by Donetsk Airport LLC.

In 2013, the airport served 1.1 million passengers. The IATA code was DOK.

The airport was severely damaged during the war in Donbas and has been non-operational since 2014.

🏢 Terminals

Donetsk International Airport had two terminals: Terminal A and Terminal B. Terminal A served domestic and international flights.

Terminal B was a VIP terminal. Terminal A had 6 gates.

The airport's capacity was 5 million passengers per year. A new terminal was completed in 2012 in preparation for the Euro 2012 football championship.
