Dublin Airport (DUB) opened in 1940 and is operated by DAA (formerly Dublin Airport Authority). In 2023, it handled approximately 32 million passengers.
It is Ireland's busiest airport and serves as a hub for Aer Lingus and Ryanair. There are ongoing plans to further expand the airport's capacity to accommodate future growth.
Dublin Airport has two main terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Terminal 1 serves domestic and international flights, primarily for short-haul destinations and airlines like Ryanair.
Terminal 2 is primarily used for long-haul international flights and Aer Lingus flights. Terminal 1 has multiple piers/concourses (A, B, C, D, E, F, G).
Terminal 2 has one pier (T2). Terminal 1 has a capacity of 15 million passengers per year.
Terminal 2 has a capacity of 17.5 million passengers per year. There are a total of 45 boarding gates across both terminals.
