Gan Island, Maldives
Gan International Airport (GAN) was originally built by the British Royal Navy and later transferred to the Royal Air Force as RAF Gan. It was redeveloped as an international airport in 2007.
The airport is operated by Addu International Airport Pvt Ltd. In 2023, the airport handled approximately 300,000 passengers.
Gan International Airport has one terminal building. This terminal handles both domestic and international flights.
It has 6 gates. The terminal has a capacity of 1.5 million passengers per year.
There are no separate piers or concourses.
Short-term parking is available. Rates are MVR 25 per hour and MVR 150 per day. Long-term parking is also available at MVR 100 per day. Pre-booking is not available.
