Hurghada International Airport (HRG) opened in the 1930s and has grown to become a major tourist hub on the Red Sea. In 2019, the airport handled over 9 million passengers.
It serves as a gateway to the Red Sea resorts and is undergoing continuous upgrades to increase capacity.
Hurghada International Airport has two terminals. Terminal 1 handles international flights.
Terminal 2 also handles international flights and has a capacity of 7.5 million passengers per year. Terminal 2 was opened in 2014.
Short-term and long-term parking options are available. Rates vary depending on the duration of stay. Expect to pay around 10-20 EGP per hour.
