Kraków Airport, officially John Paul II Kraków-Balice International Airport, opened in 1964. It is operated by Kraków Airport S.A.

In 2023, the airport served over 9.4 million passengers. Its IATA code is KRK.

It is the second busiest airport in Poland and serves as a gateway to the historical city of Kraków and the surrounding region. Future expansion plans include further terminal upgrades to increase capacity.
