Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK) opened in 1947. It is operated by ONDA (National Airports Office).
In 2019, the airport handled over 6.3 million passengers. The airport is a gateway to Marrakech, a major tourist destination in Morocco.
Future expansion plans aim to increase the airport's capacity to accommodate growing passenger numbers.
Marrakech Menara Airport has two passenger terminals: Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Terminal 1 handles the majority of international flights.
Terminal 2 was initially built as a dedicated terminal for Air France but now handles some international flights as well. The airport has a total capacity of 9 million passengers per year.
In 2008, Terminal 1 underwent expansion to increase its capacity and improve service quality.
Short-term and long-term parking options are available. Short-term parking rates start at 5 MAD per hour. Long-term parking is approximately 50 MAD per day. Parking P2 is close to the terminal.
