Václav Havel Airport Prague opened in 1937. It is operated by Letiště Praha, a.s.

In 2023, the airport served approximately 13 million passengers. Its IATA code is PRG.

It is the main international airport of the Czech Republic and a significant air hub in Central Europe. Future expansion plans include increasing terminal capacity and improving infrastructure.

Václav Havel Airport Prague has two main terminals: Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Terminal 1 primarily handles flights to destinations outside the Schengen Area, while Terminal 2 is mainly for flights within the Schengen Area.

Terminal 1 has 22 gates and Terminal 2 has 33 gates. There is also a General Aviation Terminal for private and business flights.

The airport has a capacity of approximately 20 million passengers per year. In 2012, the airport was renamed in honor of Václav Havel.

Bus line 119 connects the airport to Nádraží Veleslavín metro station (Line A). The journey takes about 20 minutes. Bus line 100 connects to Zličín metro station (Line B), taking approximately 18 minutes. AE (Airport Express) bus connects to Prague Main Train Station (Praha hlavní nádraží), with a journey time of about 35 minutes. Fares vary but a standard 90-minute ticket costs 40 CZK.
