Achmad Yani International Airport (SRG) opened in 1966 and is operated by PT Angkasa Pura I. In 2019, the airport served approximately 5 million passengers.

It is a vital air transportation hub for Central Java, facilitating both domestic and international travel. The airport is named after Achmad Yani, a national hero of Indonesia.
