Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport opened in 1979 and is operated by Taoyuan International Airport Corporation. In 2019, it handled approximately 48.7 million passengers.

Its IATA code is TPE. It is Taiwan's busiest airport and a major regional hub.

Future expansion plans include the construction of Terminal 3.

🏢 Terminals

Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) has two terminals. Terminal 1 has 12 boarding gates divided into two concourses, A and B.

Terminal 2 has 20 boarding gates divided into two concourses, C and D. Terminal 2's North and South concourses were expanded in 2018, increasing the terminal's capacity.

The total annual capacity of the airport is approximately 45 million passengers.
