Yangon International Airport (RGN) opened in 1947. It is operated by Yangon Aerodrome Company Limited (YACL).
The airport handled approximately 6 million passengers in 2019. It serves as a major gateway to Myanmar and is undergoing continuous upgrades to enhance its capacity and services.
Yangon International Airport has three terminals. Terminal 1 serves international flights.
Terminal 2 handles domestic flights. Terminal 3, the newest, also handles domestic flights and has a capacity of 9 million passengers per year.
The airport has a total capacity of 20 million passengers annually.
Short-term and long-term parking options are available. Rates start at 500 MMK per hour for cars. Daily rates are approximately 5,000 MMK.
