About the Role

FareEagle is looking for a Marketing Executive to drive our digital presence, grow organic traffic, and build the FareEagle brand across social media, search engines, and content channels.

This is a high-impact role where you'll own the entire marketing funnel — from creating content that ranks on Google to running social campaigns that bring real users to the platform. You'll work directly with the founder and have full creative freedom to shape how FareEagle is perceived in the market.

What You'll Do

  • Plan, write, and publish SEO-optimised blog posts, landing pages, and travel guides on the FareEagle blog
  • Manage FareEagle's social media accounts — LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram, Facebook — with consistent, engaging content
  • Create and schedule WhatsApp broadcast campaigns for deals, travel advisories, and promotions
  • Research trending travel topics, monitor competitors (MakeMyTrip, Skyscanner, IndianEagle), and identify content opportunities
  • Design simple graphics and creatives for social media posts using Canva or similar tools
  • Track and report on key metrics: organic traffic, social engagement, blog performance, conversion rates
  • Collaborate with the product team to write copy for new features, email campaigns, and in-app messaging
  • Manage Google Business Profile, respond to reviews, and maintain brand consistency across platforms
  • Support PR and outreach — draft press releases, coordinate with travel media, and pitch stories

This role is ideal for someone who: loves writing, understands SEO, is active on social media, and wants to build a brand from the ground up at a fast-moving travel startup.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing, content marketing, or social media management
  • Strong written English — you can write a blog post, social caption, and email campaign without hand-holding
  • Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals — keyword research, on-page optimisation, meta tags, internal linking
  • Experience managing social media accounts for a brand (personal accounts don't count)
  • Comfortable with tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Canva, and social scheduling tools
  • Basic understanding of the Indian travel industry — airlines, booking platforms, travel trends
  • Self-starter who can work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines without constant supervision
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the travel or aviation industry
  • Working knowledge of Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or any paid acquisition channel
  • Video content creation skills (Reels, YouTube Shorts)
  • Familiarity with email marketing tools (Mailchimp, SendGrid, etc.)
  • Telugu language skills (for regional content targeting Andhra Pradesh audience)
