The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) is a public research university in Richardson, inside the Dallas-Fort Worth metro. It is known for its Jindal School of Management and strong engineering and computer science programs, and hosts students from more than 100 countries.

Getting around campus and the metro
Since October 2025 the campus has its own DART Silver Line station (UT Dallas Station) on the north side of campus. It connects directly to DFW Airport via a 26-mile regional rail line through Richardson, Addison and Coppell - so students can reach the airport on transit without arranging a pickup. When to book flights
