Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) opened in 1999, replacing the former Robert Mueller Municipal Airport. It is operated by the City of Austin's Department of Aviation.

In 2023, AUS served over 22 million passengers. The airport's IATA code is AUS.

The airport is currently undergoing a major expansion to accommodate increasing passenger traffic.

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport has one main terminal, the Barbara Jordan Terminal. It has 34 gates across two concourses: the East Concourse and the West Concourse.
