Mactan-Cebu International Airport (CEB) opened in 1954. It is operated by the Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority (MCIAA) and GMR Megawide Cebu Airport Corporation (GMCAC).
In 2019, the airport handled over 12 million passengers. CEB serves as a major gateway to the Visayas region.
Further expansion plans are under consideration to increase capacity.
Mactan-Cebu International Airport has two terminals. Terminal 1 handles domestic operations.
Terminal 2 serves international flights. Terminal 1 has a capacity of 4.5 million passengers annually.
Terminal 2 has a capacity of 12.5 million passengers annually. Terminal 2 has 48 check-in counters and 12 boarding gates.
The airport completed a major expansion with the opening of Terminal 2 in 2018.
Short-term and long-term parking options are available. Rates start at PHP 30 for the first hour. Daily rates are approximately PHP 300. Parking is available near both terminals.
