Hanoi, Vietnam
Noi Bai International Airport (HAN) is the largest airport in Northern Vietnam, serving as the primary gateway to Hanoi. It was opened in 1977 and is operated by the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV).
In 2019, the airport handled over 29 million passengers. The airport plays a crucial role in connecting Hanoi with domestic and international destinations, and plans are underway to further expand its capacity to meet growing demand.
Hanoi Airport (HAN) has two main terminals: Terminal 1 (T1) and Terminal 2 (T2). T1 serves domestic flights and has undergone several upgrades to increase its capacity.
T2, inaugurated in 2014, handles international flights and has a capacity of 10 million passengers per year. T2 has 96 check-in counters, 10 self-check-in kiosks, 17 boarding gates and is spread over 139,216 square meters.
A third terminal, T3, is planned to increase the airport's overall capacity.
Short-term and long-term parking options are available. Motorbike parking is 5,000 VND for the first 4 hours. Car parking starts at 30,000 VND for the first hour, increasing incrementally. Daily rates vary depending on the parking area.
