ℹ️ About Ho Chi Minh

Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN) was established in the 1930s. It is operated by Airports Corporation of Vietnam.

The airport handled approximately 40 million passengers in 2019. SGN is the busiest airport in Vietnam, serving as a major gateway to Ho Chi Minh City and southern Vietnam.

Expansion plans include the construction of a new Terminal 3 to increase capacity.

🏢 Terminals

Tan Son Nhat International Airport has two main terminals: Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Terminal 1 serves domestic flights and has a capacity of 15 million passengers per year.

Terminal 2 handles international flights and has a capacity of 10 million passengers per year. Terminal 1 has 9 boarding gates.

Terminal 2 has 20 boarding gates. A new Terminal 3 is under construction with a planned capacity of 20 million passengers per year.

Several bus routes connect the airport to the city center, including routes 109, 159, 49, and 103. Bus 109 and 159 are direct services to the city center. The fare is approximately 20,000 VND.

Vinasun and Mai Linh are readily available. Ride-hailing services like Grab are also available. A taxi to District 1 (city center) costs around 150,000 - 200,000 VND.
