Sihanoukville, Cambodia
Sihanoukville International Airport (KOS) serves the coastal city of Sihanoukville in Cambodia. The airport was originally built in the 1960s and has undergone significant expansion in recent years.
In 2019, the airport handled over 1.6 million passengers. It is operated by Cambodia Airports, a joint venture between VINCI Airports and Muhibbah Masteron Cambodia.
Sihanoukville International Airport has two terminals. Terminal 1 is the older terminal and handles domestic flights.
Terminal 2 is newer and handles international flights. The airport has a total capacity of approximately 1 million passengers per year.
In 2018, a new runway was opened, extending its length to 3,300 meters. Terminal 2 was completed in 2018, significantly increasing the airport's capacity.
Short-term parking is available directly outside the terminal. Rates are approximately $1 per hour or $5 per day.
