Subic Bay International Airport (SFS) was initially built as Naval Air Station Cubi Point by the U.S. Navy.
It was converted into a commercial airport after the closure of the U.S. Naval Base in 1992.
The airport is operated by the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA). In 2018, the airport handled approximately 2,000 passengers.
