Mirabel

Mirabel Airport opened in 1975 with the intention of replacing Dorval (now Trudeau) as Montreal's primary airport. It is operated by Aéroports de Montréal (ADM).

In 2019, the airport handled approximately 40,000 passengers, primarily due to repatriation flights. Its IATA code is YMX.

There are plans to redevelop the site for industrial and aerospace activities.

Mirabel Airport has one terminal. It was originally intended to handle all international flights to Montreal, but now primarily serves cargo flights.

The passenger terminal has been largely unused since 2004. The airport has a capacity of 20 million passengers per year.

Parking is available for cargo operations and staff. No public parking information is available.
