King Fahd International Airport (DMM) opened in 1999 and is operated by Dammam Airports Company (DACO). In 2019, the airport handled approximately 10.3 million passengers.

It serves as a major hub for the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. The airport's IATA code is DMM.

Future expansion plans aim to increase the airport's capacity and improve facilities.

King Fahd International Airport has one main passenger terminal. The terminal is divided into two: one for international flights and one for domestic flights.
