Islamabad, Pakistan
Islamabad International Airport (ISB) opened in May 2018, replacing the old Benazir Bhutto International Airport. It is operated by the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority.
The airport handled approximately 5.6 million passengers in 2023. ISB serves as a major gateway to the Islamabad-Rawalpindi metropolitan area and the surrounding regions.
Future expansion plans include increasing the number of gates and expanding the terminal building.
Islamabad International Airport has one main terminal building. It handles both domestic and international flights.
The terminal has 15 gates with jet bridges and 7 remote parking bays. The terminal covers 180,000 square meters and has a capacity of 9 million passengers per year.
A recent expansion project increased the airport's capacity.
Short-term parking is available at PKR 100 per hour. Long-term parking rates are PKR 500 per day. Premium parking options are also available at higher rates. Valet parking services may be available.
