Jaipur Airport (JAI), also known as Sanganer Airport, was officially granted the status of an international airport on December 29, 2005. It is operated by the Airports Authority of India (AAI).
In fiscal year 2023, the airport handled approximately 5.5 million passengers. The airport is crucial for tourism in Rajasthan and has plans for further expansion to accommodate growing passenger traffic.
Jaipur Airport has two terminals. Terminal 1 handles domestic flights.
Terminal 2 serves both domestic and international flights. Terminal 2 has 14 gates and a capacity of 5 million passengers per year.
A new integrated terminal is planned to increase the airport's capacity.
Short-term and long-term parking options are available. Car parking charges are ₹90 for up to 30 minutes, ₹150 for up to 2 hours, and ₹30 per hour thereafter. Daily rates are approximately ₹500. Parking for two-wheelers is also available at lower rates. Pre-booking is not available.
