Harry Reid International Airport, formerly known as McCarran International Airport, opened in December 1948. It is operated by the Clark County Department of Aviation.

In 2023, the airport served over 57 million passengers, making it one of the busiest airports in the United States. Its IATA code is LAS.

The airport continues to undergo renovations and expansions to accommodate increasing passenger traffic.

🏢 Terminals

Harry Reid International Airport has two terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. Terminal 1 has four concourses: A, B, C, and D, with a total of 92 gates.

Terminal 3 handles both domestic and international flights and has 14 gates (E1-E14). Terminal 1 primarily serves Southwest Airlines, while Terminal 3 accommodates other domestic and international carriers.

The total area of the airport is approximately 14,650,000 square feet. The airport has a design capacity of approximately 53 million passengers per year.

In 2012, Terminal 3 opened, adding significant capacity for international and domestic flights.
