Harry Reid International Airport, formerly known as McCarran International Airport, opened in December 1948. It is operated by the Clark County Department of Aviation.

Harry Reid International Airport has two terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. Terminal 1 has four concourses: A, B, C, and D, with a total of 92 gates.
Terminal 3 handles both domestic and international flights and has 14 gates (E1-E14). Terminal 1 primarily serves Southwest Airlines, while Terminal 3 accommodates other domestic and international carriers.

In 2012, Terminal 3 opened, adding significant capacity for international and domestic flights.
