Sacramento International Airport (SMF) opened in 1967 and is operated by the County of Sacramento. In 2023, SMF served over 13 million passengers.
The airport serves as a major gateway to Northern California and is planning further expansions to accommodate growing passenger traffic.
Sacramento International Airport has two terminals: Terminal A and Terminal B. Terminal A has 13 gates (A1-A12, A14).
Terminal B has 19 gates (B1-B19). In 2011, Terminal B underwent a significant expansion, adding more gates and passenger amenities.
The total terminal area is 1,200,000 sq ft. The airport has a capacity of handling approximately 16 million passengers annually.
Types: Hourly, Daily, Economy, and Garage. Rates: Hourly is $2 per 30 minutes, Daily is $18 per day, Economy is $12 per day, and Garage is $24 per day. Pre-booking is available through the Sacramento Airport website.
