Surat Thani Airport (URT) opened in 1999 and is operated by the Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT). In 2023, the airport handled approximately 2 million passengers.
It serves as a gateway to the islands of Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and Koh Tao. There are plans to expand the airport to accommodate larger aircraft and increase passenger capacity.
Surat Thani Airport has two terminals. Terminal 1 handles domestic flights, while Terminal 2 is for international flights.
Terminal 1 has 5 gates. The airport has a capacity of 2.5 million passengers per year.
Short-term and long-term parking options are available. Car parking is 20 THB per hour, 140 THB per day.
