Málaga Airport, officially Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport (AGP), opened in 1919 and is one of the oldest airports in Spain. It is operated by Aena.
In 2023, the airport handled over 22 million passengers. It serves as a gateway to the Costa del Sol and Andalusia region.
Future expansion plans include further improvements to Terminal 3 and airfield infrastructure.
Málaga Airport has three terminals: Terminal 1, Terminal 2, and Terminal 3. Terminal 3 is the main terminal, handling both domestic and international flights.
Terminal 1 is currently not in use. Terminal 2 has 22 gates (B gates).
Terminal 3 has 12 gates (C and D gates). Terminal 3 underwent a major expansion completed in 2010, increasing its capacity to 30 million passengers per year.
Several parking options are available: P1 (General parking), P2 (Premium parking), and Express parking. Rates for P1: €2.25 per hour, €20 per day (up to 4 days), €16 per day (from 5th day onwards). Rates for P2: higher than P1. Pre-booking is available via the Aena website: https://www.aena.es/
