Valencia Airport (VLC) opened in 1933. It is operated by Aena.

In 2023, the airport handled over 9.9 million passengers. It serves as a gateway to the Valencia region and is an important hub for both domestic and international tourism.

There are plans to expand the terminal to increase capacity.

Valencia Airport has one terminal building. The terminal handles both domestic and international flights.

It has a capacity of 10.5 million passengers per year. The terminal has 3 levels: Level -1 (Metro station), Level 0 (Arrivals), and Level 1 (Departures).

There are 29 boarding gates, with 12 served by airbridges.

Lines 3 and 5 connect the airport to the city center. The station is located on Level -1 of the terminal. The journey to Xàtiva station in the city center takes approximately 20 minutes. A single ticket costs around €4.80.

Line 150 (MetroBus) runs between the airport and Valencia city center. The bus stop is located outside the arrivals area. Buses operate every 26 minutes on weekdays and every 50 minutes on weekends and holidays. A single ticket costs around €1.50.

Taxis are available outside the arrivals area. A taxi to the city center costs approximately €25-€30. Uber and Cabify operate at Valencia Airport.
