Murcia, Spain
Murcia-San Javier Airport (MJV) served the Murcia region of Spain. It opened in 1930s and was operated by AENA.
In January 2019, all commercial passenger flights were transferred to the new Región de Murcia International Airport (RMU) in Corvera. San Javier Airport is now used exclusively for military operations.
Murcia-San Javier Airport has a single terminal building. It handles both domestic and international flights.
The terminal has 8 boarding gates. The airport has a capacity of approximately 1 million passengers per year.
Due to the opening of the new Región de Murcia International Airport (RMU) in Corvera, passenger flights ceased at San Javier Airport in January 2019, and it is now used exclusively for military purposes.
Since the airport is no longer used for commercial passenger flights, parking information is not relevant. Previously, short-term and long-term parking options were available.
